Fudeconoc, the first partner organization in Ecuador is working together with Fides since more than 15 years. Even before Fides was established as a non-profit organization, we created our intercultural exchange program.

Since the year 2000, around 30 German interns were actively engaged in Ecuador by working with Fudeconec and other organizations, ministries and companies.

In 2001, we created a Fudeconec webpage in German and Spanish and also organized some fund raising campaigns.

In 2008, we began the preparations to found an official German non-profit organization. 

In the past years, our structures in Germany have grown and our work became more professional. Behind the wish for the creation of the organization with our own name, we have the desire to support other organizations and projects next to the one with Fudeconec. Here, we can rely on our network of Ecuadorian partners in the past 15 years of trustful collaboration.
